Mark is the founder and director of Seasoned Pioneers - bringing together a passion for food & travel, prior knowledge & experience of the food industry and a burning desire to develop a company with a sound business ethos. With this philosophy in mind, Mark conducted self-written ‘market research surveys’ on a Chester street corner, canvassed [read: ‘hassled’?!] friends & family before taking the plunge…
When not involved in spicy business, Mark will tend to be found rock-climbing in Snowdonia or pounding the streets with ‘marathon’ ambitions
Matt has become increasingly involved in Seasoned Pioneers over the last three years, as both a shareholder and integral personality in the running of the business. A fully qualified stuntman [he was in the latest Bond film, you know], Matt brings considerable sales & business experience as well as the finest ‘get-it-done’ attitude known to mankind!
A keen rock-climber, Matt has a love of the outdoors mixed with a big ‘adrenaline’ kick – read skydiving, bungee-master etc…
Chris is the man who co-ordinates and oversees the production side of things – no mean feat when there’s over 200 finished seasonings to look after. Involved with Seasoned Pioneers since the outset, Chris brings the right blend of experience & maturity to help keep Mark & Matt in some degree of check…. yet with very much a youthful twinkle of his own too!
Dave is our master-roaster – he’s the one who skilfully produces all our exotic spice blends, roasting the individual spices to perfect their flavours. A key member of the team, Dave is very much the ultimate ‘good guy’: unassuming, easy-going and always keen to help – just keep your hands off his roasting pans!
